Apr. 25, 1968 - Eagles from Manila enjoy fishing on Earl's Estate: A course in hinting from the wrist has become more of a fishing holiday for Bossy and Bluey - two young eagles sent from the Philippines, for training at Weston Park, Shifnal, Salep, home of the Earl of Bradford. The birds were believed to be rare monkey eating eagles, but have now been identified bu the Earl's falconer, Mr. Allan Oswald, 34, as grey headed fishing eagles, which hunt fish and small mammals in a lazy way. They are now being trained to fish - something their parents would have taught them at Weston Park until their owner, Mrs. J. Laloo, game warden in Manila, arrives in September to collect them.
