1968 - The Unexpected Baby: On the first December, Mr.Victor Lowndes went to Harrods-who promised to get anything from a tape recorder to a shrunken head-and bought a bushbaby, an Australian squirrel-like animal with sharp teeth and bulging eyes. The man in the pet department said it was a male. Mr Lowndes called the pet Mr. Bushbaby. It took up its bedroom and bared its teeth to all-comers. On Christmas day Mr. Bushbaby gave birth to a baby bushbaby. Weight 2-3 ozs; length 1 in; colour fawn, .
