Feb. 28, 1965 - Golden Eagle Escapes From The London Zoo: An attempt to recapture a Golden Eagle which escaped from the London Zoo yesterday were renewed again today. The 7-year-old male eagle Goldie escaped as his keeper opened the door of his cage, and several attempts to recapture him failed.
