Jan. 01, 1969 - Archaeological Discovery: Excavation in Memphis, Capital of the Pharaowic old Kingdom are nearing the discovery of the Tomb of the third Dynasty Architect-Doctor Imhotep, who built the steps Pyramid of Zoser at Sakkara and Wad Diefied as ancient god of medicine. Diggings carried out by British Egyptologist Professor Emry, his assistants and a team of Egyptian Archaeologists, have so far led to the discovery of two corridors filled with hundreds of Amulet Statuettes as well as some mummies of Ibis Birds and worshiped monkeys. Four years ago, Dr. Emry had discovered corridor including 1, 150, 000 mummies of the sacred bird. This year's discoveries included a rare statue of goddess Isis with her son Horus on her knee. The statue is mobile. Horus Rocks on his mother's knee and his toppee is removable. The discovery of the second Sacred Monkeys Corridor, in the beighbourhood of the steps Pyramid, some 26 kilometres south of the pyramids of Giza, is expected to lead to the discovery of the unmolested Tomb of Amhotep - A dream which professor Emry has been Digging for since 1964.
