Nov. 11, 1968 - New Wild West Saloon to open in the West End The Stetson Saloon; London's West End will be given a flavor of the Wild West tomorrow when the city's largest hotel, the Regent Palace at Piccadilly Circus, opens the swinging doors of its new stetson Saloon. Work on the saloon, which has been designed to create the atmosphere of the western bars of the 1890's was completed today and marks the end of a200, 000 plus modernization project that has given a new look to the ground floor as the Regent.
