Nov. 19, 1968 - These little kitties are behind bars, but there is a good explanation for why. They are tenants at the modern animal shelter in Lindau am Bodensee, which is right on the Austrian border. They will only be there for a few days. Usually animals are put up when their owners need to cross the border, for example, and can't take their animals with them. The animals get great treatment and await their owners return
