Mar. 03, 1968 - Pipaluk - London Zoo's Polar Bear cub makes his public debut.: Pipaluk - London Zoo's polar bear cub, which was born on December 1 last year today made his public debut. It was the Zoo's first successful birth of a polar bear since Britain's first - Brumas - in 1949. The parents are Sally and Sam, who came to London from Moscow Zoo in 1950.
