Feb. 02, 1969 - Zoological sensation at the Munich Zoo. : On 18th February the nine-year-old orang-utan lady Kessy gave birth to twins, a girl and a boy'. This birth means a big sensation for it is the first orang-utan pair, born in Europe. But the little animals are said to have very little chances to survive. However, everything is done to save them. They have been brought to a Munich hospital where they receive special medical treatment. The orang-utan-babies were even put into an icubator.
