Ireland getting acquainted on his farm at Welbourn, Lincs, with Colin and Sean, two-year-old California collies who were prevented by strict international quarantine regulations from leaving kennels at Krilsham, Berks, to join their former American owners, Mr. and Mrs Vernon Lorch, at their new home in Melbourne, Australia.Mr. and Mrs. Ireland were chosen from several hundred people who answered an appeal for a home for the inseparables'.
