1970 - Lion cub goes on safari in London : Christian, a seven-month- old pet lion cub, will be joining the jet set at a film premiere the week. The playful 100-pound cub was guest of honour at a preview of Safari Shores, a B.O.A.C. travel film about East Africa, and shown to top travel agents at Hanover grand, hanger street, w.l. today.
