Feb. 05, 1970 - Lion Cub born to Vinnie the Lioness after a Caesarian operation: A lion cub was born to Vinnie, a three year old lioness, in the lion park at Lord Gretton's Estate, Staple ford Park, Leicester shire, after a rare caesarian operation last Thursday. After the birth the cub, which weighs 3 pounds and has been transferred to Chipper field's winter quarters at Heythrop, Chipping Norton, Oxford shire, for further rearing. Photo shows Vinnie, the lioness displays the scar after the caesarian birth of her cub Caesar, the lion cub gets one of her frequent bottle feeds from 2 year old Sophie Chipper field at Heythrop
