Nov. 11, 1969 - Aboriginal Boy Star In London For Thames TV New Colour Series Woobinda - Animal Doctor': Today, Bindi Williams, a 17-year-old Aboriginal boy actor, flew into London to see the first transmission in colour of a new Australian series Woobinda - Animal Doctor, in which he has starring role, and which will be screened by Thames Television tomorrow, Nov.17th.Bindo has been acting since the age of nine, and comes from talented family. His father, Harry Williams, is a fine musician and has his own band. There are ten children their family and they live in a suburb of Sydney. Woobinda (Animal Doctor) is a family adventure series set in modern Australia and deals with the life and work of a veterinary surgeon.Photo Shows Bindi, who is an expert boomerang thrower, demonstrates his skill, much to the annoyance of the pigeons in Trafalgar Square today
