Jul. 01, 1971 - Apprentices in the Frankfurt Zoo (West Germany) ? The Frankfurt Zoo has twelve apprentices at the moment, who have to be trained for three years. Beside the practical training they get used to all sorts of work which has to be done in a zoo. Once a week they have theoretical lessons at school. On our photo they are lifting the toes of the Indian elephant-lady ?Kiphani?. Keystone Photo 1.7.1971
