Jul. 07, 1971 - Surprise for a traffic warden: Traffic wardens get a surprise when they look into Mr. Barry Hawes car, because if he goes into a shop his anti-theft device takes up her position aroung the steering wheel of his car, and wards off anyone who is looking for easy pickings, because Barry's anti-thief device is a 4-year-old, five-foot python, named Tina. Barry, a 30-year-old car body engineer at Exeter said: Tina loves to ride in the family car, when I go to work I leave her at home in case the temperature drops too low. When the weather's fine we usually take her with us. If I get out of the driving seat she loves to climb on the steeering wheel in the sun and just dozes off'. I Have had her for about two years now and she is just like one of the family. Photo shows Tina is wrapped round the steering wheel of Mr. Barry Hawes car, to the surprise of the traffic warden
