Apr. 15, 1971 - Wind the Toads! This is the spawn time for the toads. As they very frequently pass the roads to reach the spawn sites by night, they are crashed by thousands by the cars passing. To prevent a massacre, friends of animals started several actions, so the construction of small tunnels under the road for the toads and road signalisation pannels which indicate the mos toaded roads (our picture).
