A sixteen year old pony - Trixie who is retired from a local riding school-is the pet of teh child patients at the Children's Heart Hospital, West Wickham. She was presented to the Matron of the hospital-Miss Price Williams to help entertain the children undergoing treatment. She is Just what the Doctor ordered - for her daily visits to the youngsters she even comes right into the ward - is a great toic to kiddies love her. Some of the kiddies even ride Trixie in the ward. Photo shows Trixie puts her head through the war window=to receive tid-bits for the younsters
