Aug. 17, 1973 - The Duke of Bedford opens a ?150, 000 Dolphinarium at his stately home at Woburn Abbey.: The Duke of Bedford today officially opened the new ?150, 000 Dolphinarium, the latest attraction for visitors in the grounds of his stately home, Wobrun Abbey, Bedfordshire. To mark the ocassion the Duke officially named two of the dolphins - Anee and Mark, who will be trained during the winter and will begin peforming in the Spring. Photo shows Anne, one of the dolphins, yet untrained, is christened with champagne by the Duke of Bedford at the official opening of the new Dolphinarium
