Mark Philip Could Face Cruelty Charge: Captain Mark Philip could be prosecuted for cruelty to the Queen's Horse Columbus at the Badmintons Horse Trials, Animal lovers Mr. John Lockwood who runs an animal shelter at his Survey home and Mrs. Jean Pyke, of Haying Island. Hants want to take him to court. Mrs. Pyke has made a formal complaint to the police about the way Capt. Philips rode Columbus to the victory in the three-day event.
