Dec. 12, 1975 - Baby Black Rhino Born At The London Zoo Makes Its Debut Today: Noelle a baby black Rhino born at the London Zoo was on view to the public for the first time today. June the mother who came to the zoo in 1966 gave birth to Noelie on the 27th of last month, and this is her third baby. Noelie weighed 40 LBS when he was born and now weighs 50 lbs. The father is Bwana Mkubwa (big master) and comes from Whipsnade Zoo. Photo shows Noelie the baby black rhino pictured at the London Zoo when he made his first public appearance today
