Jan. 12, 1976 - Jumbo Donation To The Magpie Appeal: Victoria, the Circus Elephant today pain a visit to the National Westminster Band on behalf of the Magpie appeal, where she collected money bags for them. The elephant from the Gerry Cottles Circus now appearing on Clapham Common, was attended b eight year old old Gracie McManus and her ten year old sister Carol who are daughters of Gerry Cottles elephant trainer, Cares McManus. Photo shows Bank Manager Bob Boyd, Eustcne Road Branch, Nat. West. rides out of the bank on the elephant after it had collected the money bags today
