Animals - Aquariums - Archeology - Insects - Fossils - Zoos

Dec. 12, 1973 - Tarzan Lives: Tarzan has been for many long years the main attraction of the Circus Knie's menagery. When the huge Gorilla died, the scientist of the Zoological Museum of the Zurich University conserved him by a newly developed method, the dermoplastic method. The skin of the animal is thereby replaced by a special synthetic material, but the fur remains untouched. The result is astonishing, as out picture shows
