Jun. 06, 1978 - Kennel club Men Only Rule Challenged. Because she believes you don't have to be a man to have the ability to improve dogs Mrs Florence Nagle. 83, an internationally acknowledged breeder, exhibitor, field competitor and judge, yesterday began her battle to break down the all male barricade in the Kenel Club. Mrs Nagle, of Perworth, Surrey, who has accused the club of sex discrimination, put her case to an industrial tribunal in London yesterday. About 11 years ago she won the battle with the jockey club to allow women to take out licenses as race horse trianers, from which has sprung the chance of women's membership of the jockey club. Photo shows Mrs Florence Nagle, 83, in London yesterday to fight for the right of women to join the Kennel Club
