Jan. 01, 1974 - Tokyo's Panda Kang-Kang Meets A Snowman: Kang-Kang, the male giant panda is curious about the snowman made by zoo attendants at Tokyo's Uano Zoo, after the City's first snowfall this winter. The panda soon discovered that the snowman's eye were jujubes, and its mouth was a sugarcane, which he ate with delight The other panda is named Lan-Lan, and both rare animals were presented to Japan by Mainland China soon after their birth in the snowy Szechwan Province
