Jun. 06, 1979 - Crocodile dies after trying to eat an outboard motor : Sweetheart the giant crocodile who has thrived on a diet of outboard motors- had eaten his last motor. The 5.5m, 780 kg reptile died as Northern territory wildlife commission rangers were were moving him to a more isolated area - they estimate that Sweetheart could have been up to 300 years old
