Aug. 08, 1975 - Love at first sight: Thaia the 12 year old female elephant from the Zurich Zoo - and given as a present to the Copenhagen Zoo soon made friends with 15 year old male Elephant Chengmai who took a big interest in her. It did not take long before they were kissing andubing trunks. So in 22 months time that the time for an elephant pregnancy, they hope to see a new born elephant baby.
