Animals - Aquariums - Archeology - Insects - Fossils - Zoos

Jun. 08, 1978 - Baby Capuchins at the London Zoo. Jim and Tim, two Brown Capuchins, were born at London Zoo on the 30th April. Their parents are Minnie and Chi Chi. When it was realized that Minnie could only cope with one of her off springs, Jim was taken from her and is being hand reared by senior keeper Ron Smith. Capuchins come from South America and it is fairly rare for them to be hand reared. Photo Shows: Jim the hand reared Capuchin pictured at the London Zoo today
