Sep. 09, 1977 - Victor The Giraffe Falls In Love: Victor, the amorous Giraffe from Marwell Zoological Park near Winchester, has literally fallen in love, last Thursday after paying loving attention to three girl giraffes, collapsed into a splits, firemen have been unable to lift him. But American aid is at hand for Victor, Oklahoma Zoo has now cabled advice on how a similar problem was sotted some years ago. They believe that Victors legs have gone to sleep because of the weight of his body. The next stage in trying to get Victor back on his feet again is to get the circulation back in his legs by massage. Large Numbers of visitors called at the zoo yesterday to see the invalid. Get well messages and advice have continued to pour in. Photo shows Marwell Zoo workers try to pull Victor over onto his haunches so that his weight is not on his stomach
