Sep. 09, 1980 - Let's kiss and make up: Bobby the budgie gave this master Rick Schroder quite a shock when Rick tried to teach him to kiss. Instead of giving Rick an affectionate peck on the lips the little bird dived into his mouth and attacked the back of his throat! An astounded Rick pulled the bird out of his mouth by its wings, hoping the wouldn't swallow it. Rick's wife, seeing blood pouring from his mouth, rushed Rick to hospital. But now 20 year old Rick from Australia and little Bobby are back on friendly terms, and despite the shock Ricky has been continuing the lessons. Photo shows Rick and Bobby see eye to eye again after their little upset
