Over 0, 000 has been raised for endangered species research at the Zoo thus far in the Kicks for Critters campaign. Kicks for Critters challenges Chargers fans to kick in a few coins for the Zoo each time placekicker Rolf Benirschke kicks a field goal. Benirschke himself, has pledged a 0 contribution for each regular season field goal he boots. Another major contributor to the campaign is the Atlas Hotels, Inc. which is donating 000 per field goal
