Aug. 08, 1986 - Seagulls and Ducks Hit by Hail: Heavy hail storms over the area of Lucerne not only hurt different kinds of harvests, but also seagulls and ducks which were unlucky enough to be nearby. Policemen collected this week over 300 corpses of seagulls and several dead ducks. Photo shows a lucky seagull with her wing broken by the inch-thick hail shots
