May 07, 1981 - London Zoo's Latest Baby - a Pudu - Tinny South american Deer. Poquito, London Zoo's latest baby was seen in public for the first time today. He is a tiny South American Deer called a Pudu, which are found on te western side of South America especia;y in Chile. born in the 27th April, he stand 10 inches high and weighs about 2 lbs. Theay are rarely seen in zoos, it is believed that there are only about 35 of these animals in captivity.
