May 15, 1953 - The Braunschweig pupper-master Erhard Reis was in the USA on invitation of the American government. He came to Stanford University, which has established two classes hand-puppet art and is famous for its artistic theater science institute. Stanford University conferred an honorable doctorate on him. Erhard Reis has been in front of the tv camera several times and has given over 250 presentations.
