Oct. 10, 1951 - Puppets to Pantomime. Rene Strange used to be famous for her puppets - but when Rene took her puppets on Television most viewers were in a quandary. Some found her logs distracted their attention from the puppets, which always not on the floor. And while the cameras were focused on them, there was no avoiding the legs in the glamorous black net stockings. Soon there will be a chance for people to see whether the rest of the Rene shapes up to the promise of her legs - for she is to be Principal Boy in a production of the pantomime Mother Goose at Christmas.
