Jul. 07, 1953 - Walt Disney introduces his newest characters The Lady and The Tramp'. A couple of Dogs.: World famous Hollywood cartoonist Walt Disney was to be seen in London today introducing his two new characters - two dogs are called The lady and one called The Tramp'. The appear in his new cartoon film of the same name (The Lady and The Tramp) which is still in production. Walt Disney explained that a Lady is a pedigree dog of Coker Spaniel carity - and The Tramp is a mixed breed - full of fun and collar free. He hopes that the meeting of the two animals on the screen will prove as popular as the antics of other Star in the Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck win.
