Jan. 01, 1954 - Rhapsody in Blue'.. Self Admiration.. The wold's first Blue Pekingese was to be seen this morning.. It is a ten weeks old puppy belonging to Miss Ashton Cross and has been named Blue Rhapsody - and has a coat the same shade as a Blue Persian cat.. Pekingese normally have a jet black nose, - but Blue Rhapsody - has a blue nose.. Miss Cross family has been breeding Pekes for fifty years..
