Feb. 28 Freud heads-off to America: Cartoonist Ralph Steadman is flyin goff to the USA with a very special companion: a life-size wax statue of Sigmund Freud. Steadman has recently published a light-hearted pictorial guide to Freud's life and is off to the States to promote the book. His wax friend has been specially made by sculpturess Lynn Kramer who has worked for Madame Tussauds and took three months to complete the effigy. Unfortunately Freud is rather going to lose his head over the trip. The head is going in Steadman's hand luggage but the body will have to go in the hold: Lynn's going on the tour too to touch him up from time to time.
