Dec. 12, 1962 - Twenty Die In Boxing-Day Train Crash Disaster Near Crewe: Twenty people died and about fifty were injured when the Mid-Day Scot express train from Glasgow - ran into the rear of the 4-45 p.m. Liverpool - Birmingham express - at Copperhall - bear Crewe - Cheshire.
