Mar. 03, 1970 - A passionate puppet player is Adelheid Lack-Rabien (picture) living in Berlin. When 3 years old, she visited the Augsburg puppet shows and has been fascinated by puppets ever since. When 10 years old, she pottered her first puppet of wax. Now, 25 years old, she possesses an ensemble of 150 puppets which she made all herself and she knows very well how to pull the strings. The student Adelheid Lack-Rabien was recently awarded with the prize for lay puppet players of the town of Bochum, consisting of 1000 German Marks. She has also much fun in presenting her small puppet show in Berlin schools and homes. Keystone Picture May 15th, 1970
