Dec. 12, 1976 - 75th Birthday of Walt Disney: On December 5h 1976 it will be 75 years ago, that Walt Disney (picture) was born in Chicago. Disney started as an advertisement designer. 1922 he made his first experiments with animated cartoons. Four years later he started the Mickey Mouse series, which made him famous all over the world. Soon followed Snow-white, Fantasia, Bambi, Cinderella, Alice in Wonder Land'. Besides them however, Walt Disney also made cultural films and documentaries. 1955 he founded the Disney-World in Florida, places where one can meet famous figures like Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Cinderella and others. Walt Disney died on December 15th 1966 in California
