1980 - 40th Birthday Of Anja Silja: The opera-singer Anja Silja is celebrating her 40th birthday on April 17th 1980. Born in Berlin in the year 1940, the soprano was a member of the Deutsche Opera in Berlin, of the opera in Frankfurt, West-Germany and of the Hamburgische Staatsoper'. From 1960 to 1967 she took part in the Wagner-Festivals in Bayreuth, West-Germany, where she had great success as well as at her previous engagements. Nowadays the popular artist is engaged at the Deutsche Oper in Berlin.
