Anthony Quinn, press conference on new film, Rome

Jan. 13, 1968 - Rome, January 1968 ? Two great actors of the screen, Sir Laurence Olivier and Anthony Quinn held a press conference on the film The Shoes of the Fisherman in which they are reunited. Olivier plays Kamenev, the head of the Russian State. He is head of the Politburo, the inquisitor who tortured Cardinal Kiril Lakot, played by Anthony Quinn, during his 20 years in a Soviet prison. Quinn plays the tormented man of God whose strength of character wins him the election as the first non-Italian Pope in four and a half centuries.
