Sep. 09, 1945 - 70, 000 Berliners at Anti-Fascist meeting in honour of Germans killed in concentration camps : 70, 000 Berliners attended the great Anti-Fascist meeting at the Werner-Seelenbinder Stadium, Berlin, to honour many thousands of Germans who perished in Nazi concentration camps. Thousands of wreaths were carried by Germans who themselves had been in concentration camps as well as by relatives of those who died. Photo shows A group of former inmates of Nazi concentration camps, wearing their striped prison garb - now their proudest possession - a true uniform of an Anti-Nazi fighter, - photographed during the meeting
