Anti-fly campaign opened in London, press conference

Jun. 06, 1959 - Anti-Fly Campaign Opened In City of London: A Press Conference was held at the Apothecaries Hall, EC4 this morning to launch the campaign against flies - under the auspices of the Central Council for Health Education. The campaign is to illustrate the vast health danger created by the common housefly and other pests. Photo Shows: Miss Frances Hyde from Upper Basildon, a laboratory assistant with a show case containing some 3, 000 flies - which represents roughly the number coming from four pairs of flies to illustrate the fantastic rate of breeding - at the press conference this morning
