Aug. 24, 1972 - Smithfield Porters In Protest march over Asian Immigrants: Posters from London's Smithfield meat market today took part in a march to the Home office, in protest against the decision to accept the Asians given notice to quit Uganda by General Amin. They say Their protest is against people of any colour coming into Britain and being provided with homes and jobs when the Unemployment and housing situation is already critical.
