Anti-Nazi demonstration in Holzminden, Germany

Nov. 11, 1971 - Party Conference of the NPD - West Germany's right extremists: From November 19th to 21st, 1971, The National Democratic Party of Germany, widely regarded as neo-Nazi, held their annual party conference in Holzminden, Lower Saxony, in the North West of the Federal Republic. Their election successes of a few years ago have recently suffered some severe reversals which led to a split in the party leadership. The party chairman Adolf Von Thadden surprised his followers with the announcement of his resignation, and the conference elected as his successor 35 year old Martin Musagnug, a lawyer and representative in Baden Wurttemberg.
