Apr. 18 Demonstration In Harlem, USA: A public demonstration took place recently in Harlem, New York, to demand the withdrawal of the special police in Harlem and to back The right of the citizens of the ghetto to defend themselves'. The demonstration was sponsored by the Brooklyn Committee for the Defence of civil rights; the progressive Labor Movement, the magazine Sparticist and the movement Youth Against War and Fascism'. Among others who took the floor were Milton Rosen, one of the leaders of the Progressive Labor Movement: Key Martin, President of the Youth Against War and Fascism and Conrad Lynn, Counsel for the Defence in cases related to the fight for civil rights
