He Started Making Dolls For Fun - Now He has 5, 000 of them! Many years ago Mr. Nishizawa, a Tokyo artist, made and designed a few dolls to give friends as presents. He was facinated with the work, and decided to make a collection for himself, and to dress the dolls in clotes worn by the people of Japan in difference eras in the past thousands years. He makes all the dresses himself, and his daughter Kazue acts as a model. At present Mr. Nishizawa's collection amounts to some 5, 000 dolls, many, of which are so beautiful that several collections are on permanent loanto museums and exhibitions then thought the country. And still Mr. Niahizawa keeps on making dolls. He finds he just can't stop. The Japanese Dollmaker: His nick-name is doll-man: and Mr. Nishizawa spends his days creating new models. here he is fitting the real hair to the head of one of his latest babies
