Dec. 10, 1951 - The South Bank Auction Goes Ahead. Stephen gets his dove.: Many items were sold today - at the South Bank Festival Auction sale of souvenirs and other items. Among the popular items were the white plaster Doves - and buyers were not allowed more than two each. They were sold at between 10/- and ?1 each according to condition. Photo shows Three year old Stephen Lord of Grouch and reaches up for his dove - watched by Security Officer Robert Oxford - at the sale today
