Sep. 09, 1952 - Monsieur Madol of the Luxembourg Legation opens Art Exhibition in London: Mons. H.R.Madol of the Luxembourg Legation, this afternoon opened an exhibition at the Marlborough Gallery of works by Pierre Redoute(1759-1840) - who became famous as a painter of flowers in his native country (Luxembourg). The exhibition is being held under the auspices of the Luxembourg Society and the Marlborough Fine Art Ltd. Photo shows MONS. H.R. Madol looking at some of the paintings and engravings by Peirre Redoute at the Galleries after performing the opening ceremony this afternoon
