Sep. 18, 1952 - Seasonal onslaught of the death watch Beetle.precautionary mesures at WestMinister Hall: Workmen from the Ministry of works, were today staging their periodic examination and repairs to Westminister Hall against the death watch beetle. The ancient hammer-beam roof is being sprayed and brushed with insecticide to prevent the ravages of the beetle which was first discovered their in 1913.
